Not in Pursuit

via Daily Prompt: Pursue

I have no need

to “pursue”

anything

chase it

grab it

run after it

hell no

if I want

to do something

I will just

do it

at my own pace

when my wiles

move me

and in my own time

“pursue”

sounds just too

“have to do”

and I don’t do that

any more
