Have a little fun today and play along with our comical Thanksgiving prompt.

Go Dog Go Café

Devereaux Frazier and Beth Amanda are currently hosting the Tuesday Writing Prompt Challenge which was started by our star writer Christine Ray. We hope to offer all of you something that will spark your creativity and willingness to participate.

The prompts are designed to be quick challenges that can be written in 10 to 15minutes,  inspire you creatively, are fun, and get everyone interacting.  Please post your response to the prompt in the comments below and show your fellow posters some love and support.  All members of the Go Dog Go community, including Baristas, are welcome to participate.  Feel free to share this post on your own blogs and/or Facebook.

His Shirt

white shirt

With humble beauty and grace

she sauntered in the room

draped in his white collared shirt

and long string of pearls

sexy grin of here I am

sneaking across her face

his desire burned

thoughts of her naked skin

touching his clothing

twisted his mind

and tied his tongue

breath escaped him

heartbeats pounded

her touch on his flushed cheek

undid every nerve

he pulled her

Writer’s Silence

Monica

A writer lives

in a world of silence

sometimes welcome calm

other times deafening torment

the heart may beat

words falling into place

like good little soldiers

or it may stutter and stammer

at a loss to find rhythm

or any sense

wretched cycles

from morning’s light

to midnight darkness

absent sounds of a soul

searching for a breath of life
