The Same Breath

melt

When you and I

melt into

each other’s entity

words of the same breath

exhale in unison

poetry of love divine

touched by gods

creating a gift

only two

can open

together

Chasing Words

Absent so long

chasing words

running through my dreams

rambling words

singing to me in the dark

I fail to see them

cannot capture them

and my pages

lay bare again

Broken Music

March 2, 2016March 2, 2016 Midwest Fantasyheartache, love, orjay, passion, poetry, sadness6 Comments

Our lives

a broken rhythm

measure after measure

lost syncopation

dismantled stanzas

Once played

as symphonic perfection

now discord

lost harmony

Beautiful music

strewn broken notes

on past’s path
