Driving winding country roads
after a day of sipping wine
suddenly stopping
at that tiny, white clapboard bar
in a teeny town of no one
the one we have passed
so many times before
stares from strangers
as we enter with grins
acting like forbidden lovers
in this foreign place
we down a few beers
giggle back to the car
and I ask
“Should I take it off?”
“Hell yes” you say
without hesitation
and our sexy day continues
you driving
admiring
me dancing topless
in my seat
singing along with Bon Jovi
both of us knowing
how this adventure
will end
