Safe Secrets

Sometimes

I am blank walls

keeping secrets

no writing on them

for others to see

secrets all tucked in four corners

safe in the room of my heart

I can write on my walls

any day

any time

just for me

writing large or small

colorful or black and white

I need to read my secrets

every once in a while

to heal my heart

make me smile

make me remember

all my happy

that no one else

needs to know
