She needed to let go

of expectations

little things

she thought should happen

little things

she wanted to happen

for when thinking

of them

she was many times

disappointed

crushed

sad

lonely

wanting to be thought of

or shown she was special

or just knowing she was

the one appreciated

more than anything

and loved beyond all
